Hi Phillip.
I loved this poem and can so relate to "beginning again." Your words are deep and inspiring. Anyone who has ever had to begin again (and who hasn't?) can really relate to your wonderful words. I enjoyed reading your poems, and I thank you.

Your universal friend,
Linda

Seedlings Of Our Smarts is another one my commentaries that reminds me that our knowledge base is small, especially, when we compare our information with the things we do not know.

We have very few facts about the universe we inhabit. We have no absolute proofs that the human is even capable of knowing the mysteries about our maker; and although certain parts of our world is becoming more technological, our ignorance seems be growing faster than the seedlings of our smarts.

A diseased mind is an indissoluble mixture of ignorant opinions, and it is an offspring of superstitious thoughts.

FINDING NEW TRUTHS is a way to combat acquired ignorance. New truths can help us move forward, intellectually. Progress occurs when we discover new ways of knowing. Old established truths can provide the base upon which new truths are born.

New truths can widen our way to wisdom, lengthening our learning, and increase our understanding.

If an individual can put her trust in unseen things and thoughts that seem impossible and unachievable to people who have no faith in themselves, then she is ready to receive all the abundance that are born from her beliefs. She will come to know that the most powerful and positive things in her life are the force of faith and thoughts, which cannot be seen by the physical eyes.

Where we are today is often a direct result of our thinking, which influences the way we behave. If we think that we are only average, then we are unlikely to reach the apogee of our potential.

Too many poor people feel that they will never rise above their existing station in life. To extract oneself from a life of losing, one must exchange one’s pattern of thinking for thoughts that are positive and productive.

People who arrogate unto themselves privileges, high positions, and a high sense of importance, and whose mental assets are small, pollute our public offices and prey on the poor.

Arrogant Imbeciles are Imposters who like to accentuate their lack of learning, and who like to highlight their high opinions on subjects that have no substance. Arrogant Imbeciles are unlikely to exchange their irrational views for the rational principles that are espoused by enlightened observers.

Too many individuals fail to take advantage of their opportunities and options. They keep looking for a leader or for someone to tell them what to think. They spend their days and night waiting for something good to happen in their lives – without exerting any effort of their own. The days come and go and they see no signs of progress.

To live the full length of our lives, we must be willing to follow the path that is most suitable for our situation.

Comment on AEROBICS FOR THE MIND by Phillip Rhodes

At various times of date and night, the television channels are saturated with shows claiming that there are physical exercises that we need to reduce our weight. What they do not say is that the mind is in control of the body, and until the mind become disciplined, the chances of reducing one’s body weight could be slim. Achieving a well-portioned body without exercising and developing one’s mind is the product of surface thinking.

It is our lack of mental aerobics that keeps us in the basement of our abilities.
